Qi Han's Resume
Before I came to the University of Georgia, I received the B.S. in Biotechnology in 2009 and M.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2012 from Southwest University. I'm interested in the production of rare sugars, such as L-xylulose, in Escherichia coli. I am studying the influence of redox balance in the conversion, and trying to use metabolic engineering strategies to manipulate the intracellular availability NAD(H) to improve the production of rare sugars.
